MOTOR RACING

Ford completed the purchase of Cosworth Racing, the British-based engine specialist from Audi yesterday, so safeguarding their Grand Prix programme. The deal means that Ford will continue to power Stuart and Minardi cars in next year's Formula One World Championship.
