Michael Doohan completed his world championship-winning season with victory in the Argentine 500cc Grand Prix yesterday. It was the Australian's third consecutive triumph on the Oscar Galvez track. Italy's Loris Capirossi won the 250cc world title after almost crashing out on the last bend. Capirossi kept control of his Aprilia and managed to finish second.
