Kevin Schwantz, the world 500cc champion, intends to wear a cast to protect his broken left forearm in Sunday's season-opening Australian Grand Prix at Eastern Creek. The 29- year-old Texan suffered the fracture in a fall from his mountain bike at his farm three weeks ago.
