Moscow, the host of the 1980 Summer Olympics, plans to bid for the 2012 Games.

The British Olympic Association have made their final two selections for the bobsleigh team for the Winter Olympics in Japan next month. Chris Symonds and Eric Sekwalor have been chosen to compete alongside Sean Olsson, Lenny Paul, Dean Ward, Lee Johnston, Paul Attword and Courtney Rumbolt.
