Sporting Digest: Powerboat Racing

JOHN HILL, the 59-year-old British powerboat racer, died yesterday when his boat crashed during a World Formula One race in Abu Dhabi, organizers said. Hill was world champion in 1984, 1985 and 1990 and was the oldest competitor in the event.
