Widnes Vikings will be without their winger Roy Litherland for Sunday's Silk Cut Challenge Cup fifth-round home tie against the Super League club Salford Reds. Litherland could be out for two months after breaking an arm in last night's Alliance defeat at Hunslet Hawks.

Oldham have received special permission from the Rugby League to play London Broncos in a friendly match at Boundary Park a week on Sunday.

St Helens are to play their home Super League fixture against Warrington on 26 April at Anfield after the success of a match there against Castleford last season.
