FEATHERSTONE ROVERS must pay Sheffield Eagles pounds 100,000 for Mark Aston and Barrie McDermott could cost Wigan the same amount. The transfer tribunal that set the figure for Aston, the scrum-half capped as a substitute by Great Britain, ruled that Wigan must make a down-payment of pounds 40,000. They will pay Oldham an additional pounds 20,000 after 30 games, a further pounds 20,000 after 60 games and the same again if he wins international honours.
