AFTER being beaten 22-8 by France at the weekend, New Zealand's coach, Laurie Mains, has replaced Wimon Mannix with Stephen Bachop and relegated Arran Pene to substitute to make way for Zinzan Brooke in the team for the second Test in Auckland on Sunday.

WAHL BARTMANN, the South Africa flanker, will miss the rest of the tour of New Zealand after pinching a nerve in his left shoulder during the 37-26 victory against New Zealand Counties in Wellington on Saturday.

WORTHINGTON WELSH SEVENS (Cardiff's Arms Park, August 13): Preliminary round: Treorchy v Glamorgan Wanderers, Aberavon v Neath. First round: Treorchy or Glamorgan Wanderers v Aberavon or Neath, Abertillery v Pontypool, Tredegar v Penarth, Maesteg v Newbridge, Ebbw Vale v Llanharan, Cardiff v Bristol.
