FRAN CLOUGH, the Wasps centre, has been cleared to play immediately after being sent off nine days ago for 'striking' the current England centre, Jeremy Guscott, during a league match at Bath. At last night's Middlesex disciplinary hearing, the committee decided that Clough's dismissal by the referee, David Matthews, was sufficient punishment.
