A disappointing 35th in the fifth race of the Star World Championships in Punta Ala, Italy, put Britain's Ian Walker and Mark Covell in fifth overall last night. But they still have a good chance of the all-important Olympic qualification they are seeking in the final race today.

A second and a fourth by Jeremy Robinson in Chris Little's Bounder, tempered by being 10th in the third race of the day, were the only highlights for Britain in the Corel 45 One Two Cup in Majorca yesterday.
