GRANT DALTON, skipper of Endeavour, the leading maxi in the Whitbread Round the World race, has a lead of just two miles over the first two yachts in the W60 class - Chris Dickson's Tokio and Ross Field's Yamaha - but is still on course to break the record set last time by Peter Blake's Steinlager.
