STEPHEN HENDRY ended an 11-month spell without a ranking tournament victory by overcoming Steve Davis 10-6 in the final of the Sky Sports International Open in Plymouth. The Scot, who begins the defence of his world title in Sheffield on Saturday, boosted his confidence with a devastating performance after the interval, rattling off six of the next seven frames.
