AKEBONO, of America, the only active wrestler holding the rank of yokozuna (grand champion) is doubtful for the Nagoya tournament starting on 3 July after injuring both knees in last month's tournament in Tokyo and undergoing surgery in Los Angeles. Takanohana, the ozeki (champion) who won the tournament in May, will be promoted to the higher rank if he can win his second successive tournament.
