Sporting Digest: Swimming

SARAH HARDCASTLE, who returned to competition last December after six years out of the sport, completed a distance freestyle double in a three- day international long-course meeting, which finished in Edinburgh on Saturday. She added the 400m to the 800m she won on Friday.
