The American Todd Martin collapsed at the draw ceremony in Washington yesterday for the United States' Davis Cup semi-final with Australia, which starts today. Martin had been suffering from a stomach virus, but the American captain, Tom Gullikson, said he was confident that Martin, who was treated for dehydration, would recover in time to play.
