PAT CASH, the 1987 Wimbledon champion, will gauge his fitness in an exhibition event on Sunday before deciding whether to ask for a wild card for next month's Australian Open. Cash, 28, has been out of action for over a year after an injury to his left knee. He will play in the eight-man Kooyong Classic round-robin before deciding whether to seek a place in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year.
