PETE SAMPRAS, the new Wimbledon champion, will play John McEnroe on 18 July in a special benefit exhibition preceding the Pathmark Tennis Classic in New Jersey. McEnroe, three-times Wimbledon champion, will donate his purse for Arthur Ashe's Safe Passage Foundation.
