Women (up to 83kg class): 1 Chen Shu- Chih (Tai) (snatch 102.5, jerk 127.5, total 230.0kg); 2 P Adonopoulou (Gr) (90.0, 125.0, 215.0); 3 B Singh (Ind) (90.0, 117.5, 207.5). Xing Shuwen (Ch) (retired injured after the snatch competition, but won the category with a lift of 107.5kg).
