The British Cycling Federation has launched a long-term campaign to thrust Great Britain into the world's elite. The Federation will use a pounds 2.4m grant from the Lottery Sports Fund to help the cream of British cyclists, providing the 50 top men and women with around pounds 45,000 each to compete in world events.
