MOTOR RACING

Mika Salo, the veteran Finnish driver, is standing by as replacement for the British American Racing driver Ricardo Zonta at the San Marino Grand Prix on 2 May. Zonta suffered a cut tendon in his left foot after a crash at the Brazilian Grand Prix and is recovering from surgery.
