Sir: Sportswriters everywhere keep saying that Maurice Greene is the world's fastest man.But he's not. Michael Johnson is. His time of 19.32sec for the 200 metres in Atlanta represents a higher average speed than Maurice Greene's 9.79sec for the 100m in Athens,or even Obadele Thompson's "windy" 9.69sec.
