Sir: Mr R Fisher (Sports Letters, 14 October) cited Michael Jordan as fairly proficient. Would he say that Pele was an OK footballer, that Muhammad Ali was a sufficient boxer and Don Bradman could bat a bit? Michael Jordan is an icon, an exceptional talent and equal to any past or present sports star. And as Mr Fisher tells us, Jordan has done this in a minority sport . . . not.
