Sports Letters: Code of respect

Sir: The rugby league Challenge Cup yet again, the Championship yet again, the Premiership and now Wigan have defeated Brisbane Broncos, the champions of what is in effect Australia's national sport. I wonder who will be nominated Team of the Year by the bosses at the BBC this time? Probably Will Carling and the chaps again . . . In other words, when is the media going to give rugby league the respect and coverage it deserves?
