Sir: With reference to Mr Balcombe's comments on Hugh Morris (Letters, 14 July), Ted Dexter stood as a parliamentary candidate in a Cardiff constituency some years ago. The seat was easily retained by James Callaghan. Obviously Mr Dexter has not forgotten the citizens of Cardiff, and he has not forgiven.
