The third round of the Mintex National Rally Series crosses to the Isle of Man, where the Steyr-Daimler-Puch Manx National will be run over closed public roads tomorrow, starting and finishing in Douglas.

How to get there: Isle of Man Steam Packet ferry from Fleetwood or Heysham to Douglas (Tel: 0624-661661). Manx Airlines (071-493 0803). Spectator points: Start at TT Motorcycle Race Grandstand, Douglas, first car at 8.45am. Stages 1 and 8 Glenville (8.45am and 1.20pm): Ballaoates (junction of A22 and B21, three miles from Douglas); Brandywell (junction of B22 and B10). Stages 2 and 9 Ballaleigh (9am and 1.35pm): Ballageeil Crossroads (A3 at Cronk-y-Voddy); Poortown (A20 outside Peel); Brack a Broom watersplash (back road at St John's, near Tynwald Hill). Stages 3 and 10 Cringle (9.15am and 1.50pm): Shoulder Road (A36); Kerrowmoar (junction of B39 and B41); Ballabeg Hairpin (A7 at Ballabeg). Stages 4 and 11 Kionslieu (9.40am and 2.15pm): Back of the Moon (old mine workings, Foxdale); St Mark's village (A26); Mullinaragher (B37, 4 1/2 miles south of Douglas, access via Santon). Stages 5 and 12 Begoade (10.30am and 3.05pm): Barroose (B12, north of Onchan, 3 1/2 miles from Douglas). Stages 6 and 12 Glascoe (11.05am and 3.40pm): Glascoe Chapel (A10 coast road). Stages 7 and 14 Kella (11.15am and 3.50pm): The Curraghs (A14, north of Sulby). Finish: Douglas, 5.30pm.
