The third round of the Mobil 1 / Top Gear British Rally Championship takes to the high and the low roads of Scotland today and Alister McRae, on his own ground, is determined to become the third member of his family to win the Perth rally.

Stage 7: Rest and Be Thankful (section of Arrochar to Inverary road, A83, Strathclyde; 10.50am). Stage 8: Glenshellish (A815 through Strachur to Glenbranter, Strathclyde; 11.30am). Stage 10: Gairletter (Ardentinny from A815 at Loch Eck; 1.55pm). Stage 12: Glenshellish (as stage 8; 3.15pm). Stage 13: Rest and Be Thankful (as stage 7; 4.40pm). Stage 15: Carron (south side of Carron Valley reservoir, Central Region, B818 from A872; 7pm). Stage 16: Devilla (A895, east of Kincardine; 7.55pm). Return to Perth (10.20pm). Sunday: Start (7.30am).
