The Professional Squash Association announced yesterday that Pakistan will stage the 1996 World Open in Karachi from 18-23 November.

England's world No 2, Peter Marshall, is suffering from chronic fatigue and has pulled out of this week's United States Open. His club manager, Neil Harvey, thinks he is doubtful for the World Championships, which take place in Cyprus from 6-11 November.
