England and Germany contest the finals of the men's and women's team events in the European Championships in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands today. Champions in both competitions, England received little opposition from France in the men's championship, and their women were no more stretched to win their semi-final against the Netherlands, who were runners-up last year. However, Germany, in the men's semi-finals, were forced to a 2-2 draw by Scotland, the 1992 champions, but they qualified on countback.
