England's world No 8 Simon Parke pulled off the most sensational victory of his career when he beat Canada's world No1 Jonathon Power 15- 13 15-7 8-15 7-15 15-13, in the final of the US Squash Open in Boston. It was the 27-year-old's first PSA Tour victory over the 1998 world champion Power, and followed his semi-final win over the world champion, Peter Nicol. "To win the US Open title is fantastic - but to do it after beating the best two players in the world makes the victory even sweeter," Parke said.
