Finland's Marena Aimonen puts her back into a heat of the women's 50 metres backstroke at the World Cup swim meet in Sheffield yesterday, but the race was won by Denmark's Mette Jacobsen. Jacobsen went on to finish second in the final behind Sandra Volker, a 19-year- old German, who set a new world short-course record of 28.33sec.
