Britain were yesterday withdrawn from this month's European Diving Cup in Strasburg by the Amateur Swimming Federation. The federation decided to pull out of the event because four of the team were members of the non-affiliated Sheffield Diving Club, who refused to renew their affiliation, along with many other clubs in England, because of a dispute over who has overall control of the sport
