GRAND SLAM CUP
The 12 men and eight women with the best records in this season's Grand Slam events will be invited to compete in the Compaq Grand Slam Cup in Munich from 29 September to 4 October. Pat Rafter, Carlos Moya, Alex Corretja and Monica Seles have all indicated that they will not take up their invitations, in which case their places would be offered to those next in the points table. The points table is based on performances at Wimbledon and the Australian, French and US Opens.
