STEFAN EDBERG, of Sweden, will meet Michael Chang in the final of the ATP Championship in Mason, Ohio, for the second successive year.
Chang, the holder, surprisingly out-served his American compatriot, David Wheaton, with 13 aces to win 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday. Edberg, the No 2 seed, beat Germany's Michael Stich 6-2, 7-6.
'It feels great to come back the following year and try to defend a title,' Chang said. 'I just look forward to going onto the court. I was saying hallelujah after every point today.'
