Andy Murray makes late entry into Rotterdam contest

Andy Murray will play Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the first round of this week’s ABN Amro indoor tournament in Rotterdam after making a late decision to enter.

Great Britain signed off from their Fed Cup campaign with a narrow defeat to hosts Hungary. Friday’s loss to a strong Romania squad had crushed captain Judy Murray’s team’s hopes of advancing from Group One of the Europe/Africa zone.
