Britain's leading men continued their build-up to this month's US Open with wins in their respective warm-up tournaments on Wednesday night.

Tim Henman powered his way into the third round of the RCA Championships with a 6-3, 6-2 win over the Romanian Adrian Voinea in Indianapolis. "I am really happy with the way I played," said Henman, the sixth seed. "I am really feeling good about my game."

Greg Rusedski fought his way into the third round of the Legg Mason Classic with a 6-4, 7-6 win over the Frenchman Julien Boutter in Washington.

Goran Ivanisevic, who beat both Henman and Rusedski on his way to winning Wimbledon this year, saved two match points for a 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 victory over Vladimir Voltchkov, of Belarus, in the second round of the Indianapolis Championships.
