Britain's Anne Keothavong pulled off a major coup yesterday by beating the former world No 1 Ana Ivanovic 6-3, 6-2 in the Luxembourg Open second round.
"It feels great to beat a former world No 1. I'm chuffed," Keothavong said on Twitter after seeing off the Serb in 74 minutes to clinch a third-round tie with the Netherlands' Bibiane Schoofs.
Ivanovic is currently coached by Nigel Sears, who used to work with Keothavong, who admitted: "It felt a little weird to seeing someone who has helped me so much sitting in the opposition's box."
