Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic match report: Federer ends Djokovic's Chinese domination to reach Shanghai Masters final
Federer triumphed 6-4 6-4 to set-up a final against Gilles Simon on Sunday

Roger Federer halted Novak Djokovic's 28-match unbeaten run in China as the Swiss defeated the world number one to book his place in the final of the Shanghai Masters.
Federer, who was seeded third in the tournament, defeated his Serbian rival 6-4 6-4 in a match time of one hour and 35 minutes to line up a meeting with Gilles Simon in Sunday's final.
Federer is already in line to return to number two in the ATP rankings and if he beats Simon that feat will be made even sweeter, as a win in Shanghai would mark his first title in Shanghai.
The 33-year-old Swiss faced and saved only one break point in the entire match, hitting 35 winners and seven aces, while he won 20 of 35 points at the net.

Frenchman Simon got the better of Spain's Feliciano Lopez, winning 6-2 7-6 (7/1) in one hour and 20 minutes.
