Jack Draper became the first British junior to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals since Kyle Edmund five years ago with a three-set victory over Italy's Lorenzo Musetti.

The 16-year-old son of former Lawn Tennis Association chief executive Roger Draper fought back from a set down to see off Musetti 6-7 (3/7) 6-3 6-1.

Draper will now meet Colombia's fifth seed Nicolas Mejia, 18, in the last four.

Britain has been without a boys' singles champion at Wimbledon since Stanley Matthews, son of the former England footballer of the same name, emerged victorious in 1962.

Former winners include the likes of Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl, Pat Cash, Stefan Edberg, Roger Federer, Gael Monfils, Grigor Dimitrov and Denis Shapovalov.

In the girls' competition, 15-year-old Emma Raducanu was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Poland’s Iga Swiatek, losing 6-0 6-1.
