Wimbledon 2017 order of play for Day 12 with Venus Williams facing Garbine Muguruza in the women's final

It promises to be another packed day of action at SW19

It’s the day of the women’s singles final at SW19 as Venus Williams takes on Garbine Muguruza on Centre Court.

Williams is bidding to become the oldest woman to win a Grand Slam singles title in the Open era at 37 years of age.

It would be the elder Williams’ sixth Wimbledon title should she prevail, after knocking out home favourite Johanna Konta in the semi-finals.

But she faces someone at the other end of her career in 23-year-old Muguruza, who is looking to avenge her 2015 final defeat to Venus’ sister, Serena.

Away from the women’s final, we also have two doubles finals on Centre, with Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo facing off against Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic in the men’s doubles final.

They are followed by the women’s doubles final which sees Monica Niculescu and Chan Hao-ching take on Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.

There are also junior matches and finals of the wheelchair singles and doubles.
