The Greek weightlifter, Valerios Leonidis, set a new clean and jerk world record in the 64kg category when he lifted 183kg at the European Championships in Warsaw on Thursday. The previous record stood at 182.5kg. Turkey's Fedail Gler set a new clean and jerk world record in the 70kg category after lifting 193kg.
