John Olin, the community manager for Activision studio Treyarch, developers of the next Call of Duty game, has revealed that the company have secured a key commercial break spot for the title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is already the subject of a 15 second teaser trailer being run by the ESPN network, who will also be broadcasting the second of a possible seven game NBA Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Celtics and last year's finalists Orlando Magic from 8:30PM Eastern Time on May 18 (1:30am May 19, BST).

Earmarked for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PCs and Nintendo Wii this November 9, the seventh Call of Duty game will have to contend with excitement surrounding competing titles such as Medal of Honor, Crysis 2, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Aliens: Colonial Marines, all due out in that crucial period.

The 15-second teaser for the Black Ops commercial can also be seen on YouTube.
