iPhone 6 leaked video might actually show a real iPhone 6

Latest leak doesn't appear to be of a "skinned" Android phone

There are probably more videos purportedly showing a leaked iPhone 6 than there are covers of Miley Cyrus' The Climb on YouTube by this point, but the latest could well be the real deal, showing a working smartphone which looks to be running iOS 8 and unlocks using the TouchID fingerprint scanner.

A Chinese video blogger shows off the handset against a blank screen in the video, which differs from less convincing leaks which are probably just "skinned" Android phones in that it appears to run on iO8, with a Health app icon, predictive text keyboard and a selfie timer on the camera being visible.

All the other rumoured features and stylistic changes are there, including more rounded edges, the power button moving to the side and a slightly protruding camera.

There is dissent surround the display however, with this video showing a large, possibly 5.5-inch screen, while China Mobile today claims Apple will stick to its guns with a 4.7-inch phone.

This will all be put to bed in a few hours anyway, when Apple chief executive reveals the new iPhone (probably along with an iWatch and maybe a new iPod Touch) at a launch in Cupertino, California.

Apple obsessives have already started camping out at stores in preparation for the hallowed handset, perhaps prematurely given that it tends to be available to buy about ten days after the launch.
