Talk show host and video game fan Jimmy Fallon used part of his December 13 late night show to play through a demo of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, which is set to be one of 2011's most anticipated video games.

The segment saw one of the Uncharted developers play through part of the game, guiding intrepid explorer Nathan Drake through a burning French chateau, before handing off to an excited Fallon.

The Uncharted series has become a flagship brand for Sony's PlayStation 3, with the series' developer Naughty Dog having previously made the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter series for PlayStation One and PlayStation 2 respectively.

Uncharted 3's November 1, 2011 release date means that it will arrive shortly after action games Resistance 3 (PS3) and RAGE (PC, 360 and PS3).

Also releasing around the same time will be The Elder Scrolls V role playing game (PC, 360 and PS3) and, should Activision follow its usual publishing timetable, a new Call of Duty title. Just after will be Forza Motorsport 4 (360) and Batman: Arkham Asylum (PC, 360 and PS3).
