Among upcoming video game releases are outings for refreshed and rejuvenated cartoon characters in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, while Halo Reach's worldwide release on September 14 marks the beginning of the end-of-year spending spree after a few months of relative calm.
