Susan Boyle, the runner up to this year's Britain's Got Talent show, is the star of the most popular YouTube video of 2009 after an audience of more than 120 million logged on to watch her rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream.'

Boyle's offering was far and away the most popular clip on the video sharing web site, receiving more hits than the second and third most popular videos combined.

The second most viewed, with over 37 million hits this year, is called David After Dentist, which features a child sitting in the back of the car and asking "Is this real life?" as he appreciates the anaesthesia after effects of a trip to the dentist.

Two adverts and a wedding movie scooped the next most viewed spots on the first year that YouTube has shared this kind of data.
