The IRA's outrageous offer to shoot those people involved in the killing of Robert McCartney is yet more evidence of how out of touch it is with the mood of the nationalist community in Northern Ireland. What the McCartney family want is not vengeance - but justice. They want Mr McCartney's killers tried in a court of law - not executed in some back alley by men in balaclavas.
