IN calling for the return of fences to football grounds, Peter Corrigan forgets that no one has ever died during a pitch invasion. However, fences were responsible for most of the deaths at Hillsborough.
His poorly thought-out argument is bad enough, his flippant "apart. . . from a death or two," an insult to the memories of 96 victims.
