Ever flirted on Twitter? If so, you're not alone. A new study has found that a third of Twitter users confess to having sent 'sexy' tweets to other users.

Respondents were initially asked ‘What are the main reasons behind your use of Twitter?' According to the poll, the top five uses of Twitter were as follows: 

1. Networking 67%

2. Socialising/connecting with friends 62%

3. News/event updates 54%

4. Topical discussion 51%

5. Dating/flirting 45%

Voucher Codes Pro also found that the direct message was the most common way of flirting via Twitter, with 83% of those that said they used Twitter to flirt admitting to having sent a steamy private message.
