Janine is forgiven for pushing Barry off a cliff as Charlie Brooks is crowned Queen of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity

In the 12th series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Charlie Brooks has been crowned the winner.

The Eastenders actress commented how she was used to taunts about playing the murderous Janine Butcher as she'd grown up in the role since she was 17.

The final last night featured its two remaining contestants former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, and Brooks trying not to gag, hurl, and retch while forcing a camel's penis and turkey testicles down their throats.

The show was accused of cruelty to children when her seven year-old daughter Kiki was denied the chance to see her mum when the actress failed a jungle challenge.

Fellow contestant David Haye said he expected her to leave the show after the cruel trick, but producers allowed a phone call to stop complaints.

She's not the first Eastender to win I'm a Celeb as Joe Swash won the TV reality show in 2008 and now presents on the show.

As least crazed soap fans don't still hold her to ransom for pushing Barry off a cliff eight years ago.
