The pop star and X-factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has opened up about a sexual attack she suffered, aged 16, when her drink was spiked on a night out.
In a section of her autobiography Honest: My Story so Far, extracted in The Sun today, she recalls the assault. "When I came round again, I was in a bedroom and my so-called friend was on top of me, having sex with me...I couldn't even move, let alone get up or speak, and once again I just blacked out."
Contostavlos, who is now 24, earned plaudits in March this year, for her defiant response when an ex-boyfriend released a "sex tape". She released her own YouTube clip telling "her side of the story" to teenage fans.
